Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. He began his acting career playing roles in television shows such as Opposite sex in 2000. The actor gained acclaim for his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans also appeared in the film versions of comics and graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition as Captain America/Steve Rogers. This was a part of Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 as well as Captain America: Civil War. Evans also was as Captain America in The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015. Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. The Marvel universe, the performance as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America made him the top-paid actor in the world.
